He argues that Yiddish literature was inspired equally by Haskala and Chassidus. An unexpected "kneitch" but worthy of consideration, considering the source - Chaim Grade.
Chaim Grade was an interesting man. I met him once. Prodigious intellect, a heart that understood Novarodoker Mussar of which he wrote in the "Yeshiva" but who was attracted to too many passing fancies to abide by it, a student and protege of Chazon Ish who preferred forests, streams and sensuality to Wisdom and Goodness, and a man of fairly low moral standards. He left his first wife and mother in Vilna and escaped into Russia when the Nazis invaded. There he married a 14 or 17 year-old Russian girl who did not speak Yiddish(she learned it and became his translator but did more than anyone else to obscure his Jewishness and conceal his legacy)) and he did so before learning that his first wife was killed. Of her, he later said : "I don't have a wife, I have a child". A case study on many levels in what happens when you separate the heart and the mind.
If you are just starting out, then you could want to genuinely realize the worth of enhancing these kinds of talent. These seats are the most pricey but if you want to see the colour of the players eyes, than these seats are it.
