I previousely posted a review of the book, "Dawn of Redemption..".
Here is another, a more detailed review from the perspective of a Biblical scholar, with some interesting points, from the current issue of Jewish Bible Quarterly.
I hope to soon post the author's response to some of the important points of methodology and outlook in contemporary Orthodox Biblical Interpretation that this review raises.
Thanks for posting this. I also found 2 of the reviewer's points very notable (1) the way the author shows that modern methods of interpretating are useful tools in the explanatory armoury, and the fact that others use them to destroy should not prevent us from using them to build and (2) I also found that the way the author used the term "the Sages" gave the impression that they only spoke with one voice on these issues.
