Comment: We Jews who are brought up on the midrashic and talmudic framing of Biblical stories do not ever think of Sara as being "old" at any point in her life. Yet, we also find in Bava Kama 97b that the coin of our father Abraham was an old man and an old woman on one side, and a young man and a damsel on the other. What a beautiful image! It is generally accepted that coins were not used at the time of our Father Abraham ( bars of silver of set weight were the currency of the time) but commemorative medals were certainly known. A life of love and caring that changed not from youth and until old age.
