18 Cheshvan is the Yohrzeit of Rav Yisrael Odesser, leader of Breslover Chassidim . R. Odesser is known for having received a letter from R. Nachman, a petek with words of chizuk and the famous Na Nach Nachman Nachman Me'Uman. This facinating story, rich in reigous and psychological overtones had been published as "Letter from Heaven", with an approbation of R. Moshe Feinstein.

You are implying that Rav Moshe zt"l endorsed the Na-nach movement. That is not true.
He met an old man, saw that he was learned, and blessed him, as he blessed many others that came to see him. He did not know of nor endorse his whole program.

You may be right in principle but his haskomo mentions the pesek and he clearly seems to accept at least that part as authentic.

R. Moshe z"l was pretty generous in giving haskomos. He gave out loads and loads of em. He was busy learning, writing teshuvos, etc., and didn't have time to investigate every claim. It seems that some people took advantage of that to claim that he endorsed their cause when actually he was just trying to be nice and help another Jew.
