**************** This is a film of a 1913 Bolshoi theater performance of a play, Sorrow's of Sara. As best as I can determine it belongs to the genre of Haskala literature that attacks Jewish Law for creating complications in personal life of individuals - something about two borthers who want to marry the same woman and something about Kohanim and their prohibitions, something like Kotso shel Yud. Echoes of Ann Karenina there as well. What is interesting and noteworthy is this scene of the writing of a Get.
