One thing I never understood is why Hittites had an Indo-European language and culture if they were descendents of Ham. Anyone has an explanation?

The original language of the Hittites was not Indo-European, but another language which is called Hattic to distinguish it from the later Indo-European langauge of Hittite. Hattic was replaced with Hittite as the language of the Hittites due to migration/invasion of Indo-European speakers.
