FASCINATING person...for all his opposition to Israeli scholars being taking part in the public square of the world, he's is JUST the very kind of person that needs a wider audience in the wider, english-speaking jewish world. There are confused young people, committed (if not observant), jews who need access to Jewish eccentricity of spirit and dimension, who might find their space among Jewish thinkers who are believers. He may be off his rocker, but he's REALLY off his rocker, and JEWISHLY off his rocker, and clearly thought-out about it.
